Greymalkin is for sale
I invite you to take a close look at Greymalkin with this slideshow—you'll see she's in beautiful condition and ready to go. Speaking of going, come along, via a secondslideshow, on Greymalkin's 2011 cruise from Anacortes, WA to the Broughton Islands in Canada.
Like all LNVT's, Greymalkin is well-built for safe cruising wherever she goes, but this is an extraordinary vessel, especially designed and equipped for the Northwest and cruising to Alaska. She has logged over 5,000 engine hours on the Washington and British Columbia coasts, gunkholing into almost any inlet your finger can point out on a chart, from Olympia to Prince Rupert, Inside and Outside passages. The vessel is in excellent condition, and professionally maintained. If a part has worn, it has been rebuilt or replaced, period. LAST SURVEY (December, 2010) VALUES THE BOAT AT $204,000 WITH "NO ADVERSE FINDINGS." (Survey and maintenance records available to serious buyer.) You cannot buy a safer, more comfortable boat for cruising, nor any used boat in better condition.
What most newcomers to boating in the Northwest often don't understand is how difficult (expensive!) it can be to get parts and/or service specific to your boat once you have crossed the border. By design, careful planning, and due diligence, we have kept this vessel in top condition to avoid just these problems, and provided her with an uncommon number of spare parts. This summer we have deliberately replaced all running gear and stove parts that looked even somewhat worn. The criterion was "will this wear out in the foreseeable future?" if the answer was "possibly," we replaced it. Greymalkin is truly "Good to Go!"
Greymalkin is in Anacortes, WA and available to tour. Asking $189,900. Anchor Yachts, Anacortes, WA, has the listing. Or, contact owner (Heather) for more information: 360-333-0934, or email her at <ten.tsacmoc|niklamyergh#ten.tsacmoc|niklamyergh>.
