Many projects completed this winter as a result of finding indoor storage. Installed Balmar voltage regulator, Fireboy "Halon-Type" engine room fire system, installed Morad SSB antenna/Dynaplate grounding shoe with Icom M710 SSB and AT 130 tuner, installed new countertops and refinished galley fiddles. Fabricated and installed rudder cheeks. Bottom was hand sanded and painted with Coppershield 45 (Red) on the hull and Petit Trinidad (Black) on rudder.Donut style zinc installed on driveshaft, stern emergency bilge pump with pump alarm installed and wired, and Link 20 Battery Monitor was installed. Galley drawer under stove constructed. Engine painted, overflow cooling tank repaired, engine bilge painted. Also sanded teak decks, fitted bow anchor (Fosfjord 65) with new shackle, made windlass cover, and installed stainless rub strakes/cam cleats and cleat port and starboard caprails…stern, mid ships and bow. This system is for fenders, and is inspired by Renegade…as was galley drawer, countertops and rudder cheeks. Lastly, constructed Teak?Koa Pilothouse tray table inspired by Nellie D. Last remaining project is to sand and varnish Pilothouse and Salon sole…..then recommission in another month or so!
